Sphinx hasidentified that by inference any NEW systemshould strongly support the following warfareconcept. 17,18Intelligence, Surveillance and ReconnaissanceThe objective of ISR within NEW is toensure that commanders have a tailored, morecomplete, battlespace awareness. Given theincreasing availability of accuratecommercially sourced information to whoevercan afford it, superiority over futureadversaries is not guaranteed.
