Policies on Poverty, Exclusion and Inequality● As refugees and asylum seekers whose permission to remain inthe state is temporary while their applications to remain longerare processed.Adults from countries outside the EEA who remain in the State formore than 3 months, whatever their reason for entering or the likelyduration of their residence, are required to register with theauthorities. People seeking asylum—though not required to register—get specific temporary residence certificates.
