There it is written there that around Ch˘nov, which was possessedby the Slavníks, there arose a settlement to which belongedSolopisky (today’s Zoubek near Kfieã). Permanent settlement probablybegan in the 11 th or 12 th centuries. Two trade routes went throughâernovice. One was a salt trade route leading from Prachatice to HradecKrálové. The other was a trade route leading from Tábor towardsJindfiichÛv Hradec. As a crossroads of these two routes âernovice becamea significant trade centre.
