Depending on the applicable category either a raiseor a discount on the basic tariff will be applied. Raises are used for the funding <strong>of</strong> the Stimulation Program for cleaner Inl<strong>and</strong>Vessels <strong>and</strong> transferred by HbR NV to the Expertise- en InnovatieCentrum Binnenvaart (EICB). HbR NV automaticallyclassifies every type <strong>of</strong> vessel into category 1. For moreinformation, consult www.port<strong>of</strong>rotterdam.com.3.2 EXCEPTIONSIn order to be eligible for an exemption from the waste contribution, alongside the provisions <strong>of</strong> Article 25 <strong>of</strong> these<strong>General</strong> <strong>Terms</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Conditions</strong>, a Seagoing Vessel must meet all the following conditions:1) the <strong>Port</strong> must be called at by the Seagoing Vessel at least once every 14 days;2) the Seagoing Vessel must hold a published sailing timetable;3) the Seagoing Vessel must pay a waste contribution with the object <strong>of</strong> providing for adequate collection <strong>and</strong>processing <strong>of</strong> ships’ waste in at least one <strong>of</strong> the EU <strong>Port</strong>s listed in the published sailing timetable.4 RATES FOR QUAY DUESQuay dues are owed to HbR NV for the use <strong>of</strong> public quays. For the determination <strong>of</strong> the quay dues, HbR NV applies a rate<strong>of</strong> € 3.08 per linear metre <strong>of</strong> the ship (overall length) per twenty-four hour period or part there<strong>of</strong>.5 RATES FOR BUOY DUESBuoy dues are owed to HbR NV for the use <strong>of</strong> public buoy arrays by Seagoing Vessels. For the determination <strong>of</strong> the buoydues, HbR NV applies a rate <strong>of</strong> € 2.81 per linear metre <strong>of</strong> the ship (overall length) per twenty-four hour period or part there<strong>of</strong>.Seagoing Vessels that are exclusively: (i) waiting, (ii) repairing, (iii) cleaning the ship’s cargo holds <strong>and</strong>/or engine room,including degassing the ship <strong>and</strong>/or (iv) Bunkering owe buoy dues to HbR NV starting from fourteen days after the start <strong>of</strong>the use <strong>of</strong> the buoys. For all other use <strong>of</strong> public buoy arrays Seagoing Vessels owe buoy dues to HbR NV if they make use <strong>of</strong>the public buoys arrays for 12 hours or longer. In that case buoy dues are owed from the start <strong>of</strong> the use <strong>of</strong> the buoys.6 RATES FOR DOLPHIN DUESDolphin dues are owed to HbR NV for the use <strong>of</strong> public dolphin structures by Seagoing Vessels. For the determination <strong>of</strong> thedolphin dues, HbR NV applies a rate <strong>of</strong> € 3.08 per linear metre <strong>of</strong> the ship (overall length) per twenty-four hour period or partthere<strong>of</strong>. Dolphin dues are not owed for the use <strong>of</strong> special <strong>of</strong>fshore locations by <strong>of</strong>fshore Vessels. For this purpose a differentarrangement with different rates applies, that will separately be agreed upon with the Client. When Dolphins 84 are used fordetermining the bollard pull, the Client owes HbR NV € 1,250.00 per daily period. The owed dolphin dues are included.22 PORT TARIFFS 2014
