kathryn lutfy - Arbonne

E Y E O N A R B O N N EA FAMILYAFFAIRIt was a hot day in August of 2004 and the phone rang at thecrack of dawn. My baby sister, ERVP Dee Gundersen, was on theother end, and she was in such a state of excitement that I couldnot keep up with what she was saying. Dee had attended anArbonne “Opportunity” Presentation the night before at ENVP LisaDeMayo’s house. My fi rst thought was, “Oh no, you don’t!” I hadbeen involved with three other network marketing companies andnever went anywhere with them. Not wanting to be a dreamstealer,I listened to her intently and took home a NutriMinC ® RE 9® sample, all the while thinking, “No way, not for me!” Well, within two daysI called her up and said, “All right, we have got to talk – this stuff isincredible.” She signed me up and I have not looked back! When I think about the fact that I almost blocked this opportunity, Icringe. My “been there, done that” attitude nearly cost me one ofthe best experiences of my life. Every person I have met or reconnectedwith has enriched my life in some way. The products havetransformed my skin and have helped me to look and feel betterthan I have in a very long time. My mother, Marilyn Lutfy, signedon as a Consultant just to purchase the products, but has fallen inlove with them and is now working her own Arbonne business. My two older sisters, DM Linda MacLean and Dr. Patti Lutfy, haveboth started their Arbonne businesses. Even my dear dad, wholost his battle with several different illnesses this past summer, lovedto tell everyone he spoke to about all his daughters and their newArbonne businesses.kathryn lutfyIndependent Consultant, Regional Vice PresidentKathryn Lutfy Region; Trumbull, CTAside from the wonderful products, the truly fabulous support andthe people I have met and continue to meet in this business, thechange in me is what excites me most. With 15 years in corporatesales on my résumé, I never truly had the confi dence in myself thatone would think a sales executive should have. I used to take “no”as a personal affront. I look back and realize that everyone else hadmore confi dence in me than I had in myself. Through Arbonne, theincredible support of my upline, the fabulous training materials andmotivational books and CDs, I have become a much more confi dentand fulfi lled person. There was a time when I struggled to attain myL-R: RVP, Tracy Cast; Kathryn, ERVP; Diane Gundersen andENVP, Lisa DeMayo, at Tracy’s car Presentation.Kathryn with the newMercedes-Benz.Kathryn with parents, Marilyn and George Lutfy.continued ...
