These batteries are to be installed in four battery banks of 16batteries each , two battery bank for each 3 KVA UPS.Battery Specification: 12v 26 AH SMF for use with UPS systems for supplying power to computersystems.Acceptable Brand/Make: Exide/ AmarRaja(Quanta)Eligibility: Quotations are invited only from those vendors who are authorized dealers/suppliers of the brand they are quoting for. Evidence that they are authorized dealers/suppliers for the brand they are supplying would have to be attached with the bid failingwhich the bid is liable to be rejected.Warranty: Minimum 18 months from date of installation. In the event of battery becomingdefective within the warranty period, vendor would be required to provide a new replacement at nocost. If new replacement cannot be given on the same day, vendor would be required to provide anequivalent battery in good working condition on the same day till new replacement is deliveredwithin 7 days of the battery becoming defective.Battery interconnecting cable with lugs should beprovided for each battery. The vendor would be required to dismantle the existing bank of batteriesand install the new batteries.The vendor would be required to quote buy-back for existing 64pieces of 12v 26 AH batteries (Exide/Quanta brand) which are around two and a half years old.Theseold batteries would need to be removed from the Bank’s premises by the vendor at his own cost.Therate shall be firm and should be inclusive of cost of interconnecting cables, dismantling/installationcharge, all taxes, duties, and delivery at site ( on the 1 st & 2 nd Floor of the bank’s Head OfficeBuilding at A-1,Civil Lines,Raebareli) .No cost escalation would be permitted.Octroi and entry tax would be paid extra on production of receipt if applicable.Delivery :Delivery at site should be made within 14 days of date of placement of order.Payment Terms: 100% on delivery and installation.The rate should be quoted as per enclosed format of bid.Sealed bids should be delivered at the undermentioned address on or before 3.00 p.m. on 08/02/2010.Asstt.
