WEGO III Wide-Band AFR(Air/Fuel Ratio) Tuning Aid• Complete air/fuel ratio display system withbuilt-in data logging• Versatile tuning aid for all carbureted and fuelinjected engines displays air/fuel ratio (AFR)and logs over 2 hours data including AFR,engine RPM, and a spare 0-5V analog inputfor sensors such as throttle position ormanifold pressure• Can be used for on-road or dyno testing• Suitable for automotive, motorcycle, and othersmall engine applications• Highly accurate with less than ±0.10 AFRerror over 10.3-19.5 AFR range• Easy free-air calibration for sensor aging effects• 0-5V analog AFR output for interface to dynoinstrumentation• Ultra-bright daylight readable blue LEDdisplay with automatic dimming under lowlight conditions• Wide supply voltage range from 11-16Vallows operation from battery on smallengines or race vehicles without an alternator.Current draw is approx. 1 amp.• Built-in USB interface• Fully encapsulated with water-proof LEDdisplay• Compact size: 4”L x 2”W x 0.5”HThe WEGO III is a third generation productthat utilizes the proven Bosch LSU 4.2 widebandexhaust gas oxygen sensor. By utilizingminiature surface mount electronicstechnology, digital signal processingtechniques, and a switching power supply forthe sensor heater, the WEGO III provides thesame level accuracy as lab systems costingthousands of dollars.Data Logging SoftwareThe WEGO III features data logging andincludes a built-in USB interface for easyconnection to newer laptop PCs. This datalogging capability greatly facilitates enginetuning and diagnosis of driveability issues. TheWEGO III can store data for over 2 hours ofoperation. You can use our WEGO Logsoftware to download and display this data ona chart recorder type screen. WEGO Logsoftware runs under Windows XP/Vista/7. Thesoftware allows viewing AFR, engine RPM,and analog sensor data with user definedscaling. Data can also be analyzed tocalculate required fuel correction tables withthe same RPM rows and throttle position(TPS) columns used by Dynojet ® PowerCommander ® (PC) systems. Correction valuescan then be copied and pasted into the PCsoftware using provided Excel spreadsheets(refer to website for details).Available data includes AFR (air/fuel ratio),engine RPM, and a 0-5V analog input. TheRPM input can be connected to a tachometersignal or driven directly from an ignition coil.RPM data is correctly scaled and displayed for1-12 cylinder engines. The analog input canbe connected to sensors such as throttleposition or manifold pressure. Analog data canbe scaled to display the correct units, such aspercent throttle position or In-Hg manifoldpressure.Dynojet ® and Power Commander ® are registeredtrademarks of Dynojet Research Inc.5
