Thousands of graduates, faculty, staff, and family gatheredon the rainy weekend of May 3 and 4, where theycame together in the Walker Arena and in the Conn Center vialive link. The May ceremonies are the largest of three graduationevents held at <strong>Lee</strong>` each year. Commencement is a two-day event,beginning with a commissioning service on Friday evening wheregraduating seniors share their <strong>Lee</strong> experiences and students lead insong and prayer. A highlight of commissioning is the presentationof Bibles to every graduate.Saturday morning was the traditional graduation ceremony, wherehundreds were presented their diplomas, either at the bachelor’s ormaster’s level. Undergraduate degrees presented numbered 379, with44 graduate degrees for a total of 423.
