It also provides aselection of application blocks including maths, logic and timingfunctions offering the ability to develop custom solutions and createcost effective machine controllers. The custom User Page featureallows an operator to view current information in a style mostsuitable to the process and terminology of the industry.CommunicationsThe 3500 is designed to integrate seamlessly with programmablelogic controllers and other supervisory systems. A wide range ofserial communication options are catered for including EIA232 andEIA485 using the Modbus RTU protocol along with Profibus DP andDeviceNet.
