We areoperated by a voluntary Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, many <strong>of</strong> whom have a disability or have a family member with a disability. We hadour humble beginnings in 1998 when a small group <strong>of</strong> determined parents gathered together with the common belief that lifecould be better for their sons and daughters.HASEP is funded by Canada Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services. We are designed to support individuals with disabilitiesor employment barriers with career and employment decisions and help support them to work in competitive employmentsettings. We are actively involved in other projects that promote the inclusion, involvement, and participation <strong>of</strong> people withdisabilities in community life. These other projects include Rosthern Employment Program (REP), Special Needs Respite CareProgram, Summer Program for Children and Youth with Special Needs, Enhanced Activity Worker Program, Training for JobsProgram, and Nutritional Cooking.
