Meeting with the Tourism Council of Thailand on May 12th - It is planned toorganise a meeting with TCT every three months.August, 2011Bert informed the meeting that TCT meets with the PM on a regular basis and they arethe official spokesman on Tourism for the PM's Office.Blair attended this meeting and he has offered to work with the TCT MediaCommittee.Blaire

Thailand Tourism Marketing - Mapping the Future, May 19th, 2011 -Bert informed the meeting that we had a very successful conference and have receiveda thank you letter from the TAT Governor. The Evaluation forms submitted werepositive and Bert is finalising the notes of the brainstorm sessions.Bert informed the meeting that some of the participants have offered to serve on theabove 4 committees and to work with TAT.The Round Table will meet with the TAT Governor on July 7th when the above willbe reviewed. Kusa Panyarachun Scholarship Presentation with TUIThe PATA Secretariat will prepare a cheque for Baht 20,000 in order that TUI canlaunch the 1st scholarship. The meeting requested that TUI should organise an officialpresentation of the scholarship with the involvement of Khun Kusa Panyarachun assoon as possible.Secretariat3.1.4. Papers to Practice - November 2011Aj. Jan informed the meeting she has been in contact with ten leading universities tosubmit their research papers out of which we will select two papers for eachuniversity. Aj.
