Such a plunger shape guarantees aconsiderable increase in the pull force because the linesof force can pass through the air gap either in the core orat the top via the limb. The system is suitable for bothshort and longer strokes (max. 50 mm).The force–stroke curve has a gently ascendingcharacteristic, which makes this type particularly suitablefor overcoming spring forces. The application of anelectromagnetic force brings about a linear movementfrom the initial position to the end position; the returnmovement is accomplished with external forces.Make sure that the plunger can attract until the pole faces makecomplete contact because otherwise a thermal overload in the coilcan lead to failure.Both frame and plunger are manufactured from magnetic, highqualityplates. The pole faces are delivered without corrosionprotection.
