These sprinklersare approved solely for use with indoor wet pipe sprinklersystems.Model F1 Recessed Residential Sprinklers are to be installedonly as shown. The Model F1 or Model F2 Escutcheonillustrated is the only recessed escutcheon tobe used with the Model F1 Pendent or Horizontal SidewallResidential Sprinklers. The use of any other recessedescutcheon will void all approvals on thesesprinklers and negate all warranties. When installingModel F1 Residential Sprinklers, use the Model D SprinklerWrench and when installing Model F1 RecessedResidential Sprinklers, use the Model GFR1 SprinklerWrench. Do not cleansprinkler with soap and water, ammonia or any othercleaning fluids. Remove dust by using a soft brush orgentle vacuuming. Remove any sprinkler which hasbeen painted (other than factory applied) or damaged inany way. A stock of spare sprinklers should be maintainedto allow quick replacement of damaged or operatedsprinklers.
