DuLaney, Lockheed Martin and US Air ForceMajor General (Ret), as the keynote speaker. He willpresent “F-35 Lightning II: The Centerpiece for 21stCentury Global Security.” This is a free event at <strong>SMTA</strong>International and includes breakfast treats and c<strong>of</strong>feefor all attendees.The F-35 Lightning II is a 5th Generation fighter,combining advanced stealth with fighter speed andagility, fully fused sensor information, network-enabledoperations and advanced sustainment. Three distinctvariants <strong>of</strong> the F-35 will replace the A-10 and F-16 forthe U.S. Air Force, the F/A-18 for the U.S. Navy, theF/A-18 and AV-8B Harrier for the U.S. Marine Corps,and a variety <strong>of</strong> fighters for at least ten other countries.Bob DuLaney will provide an overview <strong>of</strong> the F-35program detailing the importance <strong>of</strong> this particularaircraft, current progress on the program, and itseconomic impact.Bob DuLaney is Senior Manager F-35 CustomerEngagement for Lockheed Martin AeronauticsCompany in Fort Worth, Texas. During his thirty plus years in the USAFhe served in various locations throughout the world,including Europe and Asia. Bob is a combat veteranfighter pilot with 4500+ fighter hours in the F-16and F-4. news & EventsWelcome Back Joel!<strong>SMTA</strong> is proud to welcome back Joel Eaton to thestaff. Joel completed an internship with <strong>SMTA</strong> from2011-2012. He earned his Bachelors in CommunicationStudies and Business Administration from HamlineUniversity in 2012. He joined <strong>SMTA</strong> as a full-timeemployee in April 2013 in the role <strong>of</strong> Event Assistant.Joel previously held administrative assistant positionsfor several different college <strong>of</strong>fices throughout his timeat Hamline. He was excited to get the internshipposition at <strong>SMTA</strong> during his senior year. Joel enjoysthe friendly <strong>of</strong>fice environment and the opportunity toapply what he learned in his Marketing courses.Originally from Oregon, Joel moved to Minnesotafor college and has been here ever since.
