Used for quick and easy measurements of

the plasticity of mixtures especially concrete,

and so to detect rapidly any excess of water.

The measuring system is related to the shear

strength applied by a three blade head to

It consists of a fully insulated double wall tank

with cover, inside all from stainless steel, outside

constructed from painted steel. Insulation by

mineral wool.

The tank can take up 16 cubic 150 mm side

specimens or 16 cylindrical diam. 150 mm

specimens.

The test consists essentially in curing the concrete

specimens by the steam generated by the water

layer heated by 3 electric resistances of 1500 W

each, or curing in warm water 35 - 55°C.

The temperature range reaches 100°C.

Pipe vertex tester for concrete pipes

ASTM C 301, C 497, BS 5911, DIN 4035

The sturdy frame made of structural steel is bolted

together with high-strength bolts. As a result, it can

be easily assembled and disassembled: e.g. for

delivery or for transport from one production

site to another.

The two upper crossbeams are raised and

lowered by a motor-operated winch, or by a hand-

-operated winch. The upper crossbeam is locked

into position by locking pins inserted through the

columns.

The pressure is produced by a high-performance

hydraulic ram assembly with fast-approach ram

action and automatic change-over to the highpressure

range for testing.

Load display by 2 pressure gauges.
