BSBWHS402A Assist with Compliance with WHS LawsThis unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to assist withproviding advice about the legislative duties, rights and obligations of individuals and partiesprescribed in work health and safety (WHS) laws. It includes identification of WHSlegislation, duties, rights and obligations and the necessary actions to ensure compliance inthe workplace.This unit applies to individuals who assist with providing advice about the legislative duties,rights and obligations of individuals and parties prescribed in WHS laws as part of asystematic approach to managing WHS. This unit applies to people who work in a broadrange of WHS roles across all industries.BSBWHS402A Assist with Compliance with WHS Laws contains employability skills.Instructions to the candidate1. Read all of the questions for this unit of competency before commencing.2. Answer all the questions for this unit of competency. Keep in mind you are studying aNationally Recognised Certificate IV unit of competency.3. Your answers must reflect the depth of knowledge and understanding expected of aperson who can work without supervision and demonstrate a level of judgement anddecision-making.4. This assessment is to be conducted in a supervised classroom environment.Computers may be used for the purpose of presenting the answers in a neat andprofessional manner.5.
