Velika Papalićeva palačagrađena po projektu Jurja Dalmatinca, pripadanajljepšim kulturno-povijesnim spomenicimaSplita. Muzej grada Splita sabire, čuva i prezentiramaterijalnu i duhovnu prošlost grada. Dugai bogata povijest Splita predstavljena je kroz najboljei najreprezentativnije primjerke iz zbirkikoji su kronološki izloženi u stalnom postavu naprizemlju i dva kata Velike Papalićeve palače.U prizemlju Muzeja grada Splita u tijeku je iizložba “Gaius Aurelius Valerius DiocletianusPius Felix Invictus Augustus i njegova palačau Splitu“. Izložba predstavlja lik i djelo cara Dioklecijana,zatim tetrarhe i njegovu užu obitelj tenjihovu povezanost sa splitskom palačom. Osimtoga, ona obuhvaća još uvijek malo poznate činjeniceo Dioklecijanovu porijeklu, životu i djelovanju,abdikaciji i okolnostima smrti. Izložbučini nekoliko segmenata koji su, uz izložene originalnemuzejske predmete, realizirani različitimprezentacijskim i muzeološkim instrumentimapoput modela, rekonstrukcija, odljeva skulpturai reljefa, multimedijalne prezentacije i tekstualno-slikovnihprikaza.Muzej grada Splita tijekom cijele godine organizirabrojne izložbe, promocije, edukativneprograme i koncerte te je stoga nezaobilaznomjesto za sve posjetitelje i korisnike koji želeupoznati i doživjeti bogatu kulturu ovog tisućljetnoggrada.Split City Museum is situated in the gothicrennaissancepalace of the noble family Papalić,built during 15th and 16th century. Built accordingto the project of Juraj Dalmatinac, the GreatPapalić Palace is one of the most beautiful historicalmonuments in Split. Split City Museumcollects, stores and presents the material andspiritual traces of history in Split. The bestpieces of the museum collections are chronologicallypresented in the permanent layout onthe ground floor and two floors of the Musuem.The groundfloor of the Museum now housesthe exhibition “Gaius Aurelius Valerius DiocletianusPius Felix Invictus Augustus an his palacein Split“ presenting the emperor Diocletian,tetrarchs and emperor’s close family and theirconnection to the palace in Split. The exhibitionalso reveals less known facts about Diocletian’sorigin, life and rule, abdication and circumstancesof death. The display is organizedin few segments which, beside original arifacts,are presented with various presentantional andmuseological methods like models, reconstruction,cast sculptures and reliefs, multimedialpresentation and textual and visual material.Through the year Split City Museum organizesnumerous exhibitions, promotions, educationalprogrammes and concerts thus it isa inevitable place for all visitors and users whowant to experience the rich culture of this ancientcity.Galerija Emanuel Vidović posvećena je liku idjelu Emanuela Vidovića (1870. – 1953.), a zamišljenaje kao mjesto sabiranja, obrade, istraživanja,zaštite i prezentacije slikareva materijalnogi duhovnog naslijeđa.U stalnom postavu primjenjuje se kombinacijatematskog izlaganja i kronološkog slijeda. Vidovićeveslike razvrstane su na tematsko-motivskekrugove. Zasebnu cjelinu u postavu čine Vidovićeviportreti Splita u crtežu koji pokazuju slikarevupovezanost sa zavičajem, ali i njegovu, nerijetkoosporavanu, vještinu baratanja linijom. Jedandio prostora zauzima i rekonstrukcija Vidovićevaatelijera. Ona je stavljena u funkciju ambijentaizloškakoji ne otkriva samo kontekst u kojem sunastajala umjetnikova djela, nego i simulira diostvarnih motiva Vidovićeva slikarstva. Sporedniprostori Galerije, odnosno prostori između katovai hodnici iskorišteni su za prezentaciju dokumentarnegrađe o Emanuelu Vidoviću.Galerija je smještena u klasicističkoj kući krajSrebrenih vrata Dioklecijanove palače i ističese iznimnim umjetničkim djelima i interijeromte posebnom upotrebom svjetla u kreiranju mističnei lirske atmosfere Vidovićeve Dalmacije.Galerija Emanuel Vidović nominirana je 2008.za nagradu Europski muzej godine.U Galeriji Emanuel Vidović redovito se organizirajuizložbe relevantnih hrvatskih umjetnikas posebnim osvrtom na splitsku likovnu scenu.Emanuel Vidović Gallery is dedicated to theperson and art of Emanuel Vidović (1870-1953).It is the place where the artists’ material andspiritual legacy is gathered, studied, preservedand presented.The exibition layout follows the principles of acombined thematic and chronological presentation.The chronology follows the changes inthe painter’s preoccupations with themes andmotifs. One section in the layout are Vidović’sdrawings of Split showing his close ties withthe place of his birth and proving his frequentlydisputed drawing skills. A separate section is occupiedby a reconstruction of Vidović’s studio.The arrangement of objects makes up an ambienceresembling that in which the artist workedin but the reconstruction is also a simulation ofthe actual motifs that appear in the paintings.The spaces connecting the main exibition areasand the hallways are used to exibit documentarymaterials about Emanuel Vidović.The Gallery is situated in the Classicist houseat the Silver Gate of Diocletian’s Palace and itoutstands with works of art and an interior enhancedwith the special use of light which altogethercreate mystical and lyrical atmosphere ofVidović’s Dalmatia. In 2008, Emanuel VidovićGallery was nominated for the prestigeous EuropeanMuseum of the Year Award (EMYA).Emanuel Vidović Gallery regularly organizes exhibitionsof relevant Croatian artists with specialattention to the art scene of Split.4 5

Pet godina bila je član YoungMusicians’ International SymphonyOrchestra pod vodstvom prof. IgoraCorettia i s tim je orkestrom gostovalau Italiji, Sloveniji, Austriji, Mađarskoji Češkoj. Before startingthe Music academy she took perfectioningclasses with Asja Kuschner and Isaac Schuldman.She won third prize at the Internationalviolin competition in Gorizia in 1999 andwas invited on a tour in Italy, Austria andSlovenia. For five years she was a memberof the Young Musicians’ InternationalSymphony Orchestra under the guidanceof prof. Igor Coretti. Sa šest godina osvojila jedrugu nagradu na državnom natjecanjuza mlade glazbenike, a s osamgodina prvi put nastupa s komornimorkestrom svirajući Vivaldijev koncert ua-molu. Godine 1995. osvaja prvu nagraduna međunarodnom natjecanju za mladeglazbenike u Kišinevu. Godinu kasnijeuspješno je nastupila na međunarodnomnatjecanju “Classica Nova” u Hannoveru, Njemačka.Nastupala je na javnim koncertima uMoldaviji, a posebno su zapaženi njeni nastupisa simfonijskim orkestrom. Leonid Sorokow. She has won multiplefirst and second prizes on Croatiancompetitions for students of music anddance. During her studies Ankica hasperformed at numerous concerts, annualstring festivals as well as at the“Virtuoso” concert cycle. In 2011 sheheld a solo recital within the cycle“Piu Mosso” in the hall of the Facultyof humanities in Zadar. Kao učenik osvojio je brojnenagrade na državnom natjecanju komornihglazbenika, te 1. državnu nagradu 2000. godinekao violist. Diplomirao je na Muzičkoj akademijiu Zagrebu u klasi prof. M. Čunka 2005. godine.Kao student je osvojio 1. državnu nagradu ukategoriji komornih sastava 2003. godine te 2.državnu nagradu 2002. godine na violi. Član jeSplitskog komornog orkestra od njegova osnutka,a s njime je nekoliko puta nastupio i kaosolist. Bio je gost Varaždinskog i Hrvatskog komornogorkestra. Od 2005. do 2010. godine radikao profesor viole i voditelj gudačkog orkestrau Glazbenoj školi Josipa Hatzea. U to vrijemepočinje se sve zapaženije baviti dirigiranjem, teinstrumentacijama za gudački korpus. He started playing theviolin in the class of prof. Krsto Marinković andviola in the class of prof. Ivan Leon Anić andprof. Gordana Baković. During his high schoolhe joined a group of Croatian students who participatedin the Young Musicians InternationalSymphony Orchestra YMISO (now CEI). Theyperformed in Budapest, Prague, Graz, Postojna,Triest, Klagenfurt and elsewhere. As a studenthe won several prizes on national chamber musiccompetitions and in 2002 1st prize as a soloviolist. He graduated at the Music Academyin Zagreb in the class of prof. Milan Čunko in2005. Ivan is a member of the Split ChamberMusic Orchestra from its founding and has performedwith them also as a soloist. He playedwith the Varazdin and the Croatian ChamberOrchestra. From 2005 to 2010 he worked as aviola teacher and conductor of the string orchestrain the music school Josip Hatze. At thesame time he started aranging pieces for stringensembles. Za vrijeme studijana Musikhochschule Heidelberg-Mannheimdobila je 1. nagradu kao članica gudačkog kvarteta1994. te 2. nagradu kao članica klavirskogtrija 1998. na natjecanju komorne glazbe uMannheimu. S nepunih 18 godina 1994. postajenajmlađom članicom Heidelberškog filharmonijskogorkestra (Philharmonisches Orchesterder Stadt Heidelberg). Članica je tog orkestrado 1997. te od 1999. do 2002. 1997./1998. bilaje članica orkestra Narodnog kazališta Wiesbadenu Hessenu (Orchester des HessischenStaatstheaters Wiesbaden). Godine 1996. osnivase Heidelberški gudački kvartet (HeidelbergerStreichquartett) čiji je stalna članica sve do 2002.Održala je brojne koncerte u Njemačkoj, Francuskoj,Nizozemskoj, Austriji, Italiji i Švicarskoj. SHeidelberškim gudačkim kvartetom održala jeturneju po Japanu 1996. godine. 2002. postaje1. violončelo Splitskog komornog orkestra skojim nastupa sedam koncertnih sezona i gostujena “Dubrovačkim ljetnim igrama” te na“Splitskom ljetu”. Od 2005. do 2010. godineradi kao profesorica violončela i komorneglazbe u Glazbenoj školi Josipa Hatzea uSplitu. Članica je Splitskog gudačkog trija,a ostvarila je i zapažene solo nastupe.U Orkestru HNK Split svirala je nasvim Splitskim ljetima od 2003. do2009. godine. Dešpalja and others.Sunčana is a winner of two 1st prizes in 1989 asa solo artist and in 1990 as a member of a pianotrio. During her education at the MusikhochschuleHeidelberg-Mannheim she won 1st prizeas a member of a string quartet in 1994 and 2ndprize as a member of a piano trio in 1998 at theChamber Music Contest in Mannheim. Beforeshe was 18, in 1994, she became the youngestmember of the Heidelberg Philharmony Orchestra(Philharmonisches Orchester der StadtHeidelberg). She was a member of this orchestrauntil 1997 and from 1999 to 2002. She was amember of the National Theatre Wiesbaden inHessen (Orchester des Hessischen StaatstheatersWiesbaden) and a memeber of the HeidelbergString Quartet (Heidelberger Streichquartett)from its founding in 1996 to 2002. She hasheld numerous concerts in Germany, France,Austria, Italy and Switzerland. She participatedat the Japan tour of the Heidelberg String Quartetin 1996. In 2002 she became the 1st cello ofthe Split Chamber Orchestra for the followingseven concert seasons and as such has performedat the Dubrovnik summer festival and the SplitSummer Festival. She worked as a cello andchamber music teacher in the music schoolJosip Hatze in Split from 2005 to 2010. She isa member of the Split String Trio, but performsalso as a soloist. He collaborated with the musicaland theatrical group Paramundus in thechamber operas Novi čevlji and Mnemosyne,that won on the Slovenian doys ofdrama in 2002. He is a member of chamberorchestras: Solisti Piranesi, Gaudeamusand co-founder of the chamberorchestra Adrianis.
