my childhood. Spending countless summers
there, with my family, enjoying the snack
bar’s goodies, renting those hard canvas rafts,
Cardiff to Cardiff – 100 Years
In 1911 a painter from Boston, J. Frank
Cullen, ventured into a bit of paradise
in southern California and promptly
named it after his wife’s hometown
in the United Kingdom. Mrs. Cullen
stands in her sunny flower garden
and gazes out to sea as the Cardiff
Castle in Wales becomes a pleasant
memory.
“Ganesa” is more than just an
Elephant Headed Deity
It’s another year for the Artist to
share a vision with the town, hence
Ganesa arrived inside of my inner
vision so here it is... The Cosmic Remover
of Obstacle’s money. The artist’s
share of the proceeds will be donated
to “ShantiPuri”, an Orphanage
in India.
Dance Alive
I wanted to capture the exuberance
of swing dance within an abstract
figure that embodies the power and
grace of movement to music, and to
express my personal joy in what a gift
it has been in my life.
of Palomar Mountain, also known by
the Spanish name Cahuilla.
Majesty
A Lion is chosen for this banner because
it is an animal both feared and
adored throughout legend, literature,
and nature. To witness such a fierce
creature at rest with the moon’s glow
on His mane is undoubtedly profound,
and I am happy to have experienced
this firsthand through this
painting process.
Keyhorse - Alternate title - Yekirata
The Key to our lives lies in our childhood
Disrupted from my endeavor to pursue motorcycle
design, I have fallen back on skills
and talents I had prior to an accident three
years ago which left my brain floundering in
confusion. Forcing myself into rehabilitation,
where I pushed through nauseating pain, exhaustion,
and confusion, I have found a healing
path back to having a super hero cape.
This banner is my first attempt at finding joy
and peace through painting. The artists portion
of the proceeds will go directly toward
rent and doctor bills.
