Participatein elaboration of long term strategic vision & mission for the school and reporton administrative matters and execute decisions and instructions of the Boardefficiently and timely.
Lycée Français de SingapourApril 2013Page 3‣ In close cooperation with the Proviseur and heads of department prepare theannual operating budget for submission to the Finance Committee.‣ In coordination with others strive to modernize and improve administrativeprocedures as well as promoting efficient external and internalcommunications.‣ Recruitment of all administrative staff and support of the Proviseur in therecruitment of other staff.‣ Maintain the competitive advantage of the LFS within the international schoolcommunity in Singapore.Operational Management‣ Closely collaborate with and support the Proviseur to keep him informed ofimportant operational matters.‣ Develop the existing administrative team – deploy resources appropriately,identify skill gaps and implement relevant training anddevelopment programmes.‣ Supervise and control the day-to-day operations of the school within authorizedguidelines and approved budgets including:oooApprove material and equipment purchases, related disbursements as wellas commitments to annual maintenance contracts.Negotiate annual insurance policies including the group medical scheme,annual agreements with school bus operators and canteen. Maintain up todate licences relevant to school operations.Supervise the coordination of all matters concerning security, maintenanceand repair.
