e x p e r i e n c es a t u r d a yafternoond i s c u s s i o n6 workshopsfor sharing experience and discussionUsing observations, concrete examples and the analysis of conflicts andsynergies, these workshops will try to reveal how the relationships betweenreligions and societies develop. They will explore how the communities offaith can – without merging into the society – contribute today to its vitality and itscohesion. What can be their contribution to a society in search of moral references and meaning?The workshops – the organization of which has been entrusted to a member of theboard of the “Semaines sociales” – will be held simultaneously in 6 different locationsby choicein the Cité des Congrès and will comprise seminars, round table discussions,examples and – of course – discussions. Each workshop will issue suggestions for a better integrationof religions in the public arena. Their outputs will be part of the message to the society that, the “SemainesSociales de France” will present the following day.From pm to pmThe management of religions inthe public arenaHow do religions get organized in the publicarena?
