In order to keep our clients fully informed of all potential costs around purchasing our services we will be starting a new<br />

automated communication. This communication will inform our valued clients of their liability if they have rented an<br />

IFTA liable unit and have not submitted adequate fuel receipts. The trigger for this automated e-mail will be the close out<br />

of a contract. This communication coupled with our centralized efforts to collect fuel receipts , trip records and Rydesmart data<br />

is intended to reduce financial exposure to both <strong>Ryder</strong> and our valued clients.<br />

Please keep in mind as you discuss this with your clients that from a convenience and liability stand point the best scenario<br />

is to get our clients on 100% <strong>Ryder</strong> fuel when appropriate and coupled with our Rydesmart devices we can make this very<br />

seamless. So, like many situations selling more products is always a good thing. I know this goes against everything we have<br />

done for 20 years, but now is the time to have the conversation and inform our customers.<br />

charges. If you did not use 100% <strong>Ryder</strong> Fuel or have not turned in supporting fuel documentation with your Rental, an additional charge estimated at 0.046 cents per mile<br />

billed will be charged to your account.<br />

more jurisdictions when displaying an IFTA permit.<br />
