The graduates will all be in academic regalia and faculty candemonstrate their recognition of the grandeur of the ceremony by also wearing academic regalia. Regaliaorders should be placed no later than Friday, April 22, 2011. Please contact either the MMC Bookstore305-348-2691, or the BBC Bookstore 305-919-5580.Arrival: We request that faculty arrive at the U.S. Century Bank Arena one hour prior to the respectiveceremony and proceed to the faculty robing area (room 119) located on the southeast side of thearena. A detailed agenda and parking pass will be distributed to your dean’s office one week prior tocommencement.


Processional: Faculty will line-up for the processional one-half hour prior to the beginning of eachceremony. Faculty banner marshals will lead each college or school down the center aisle to theirrespective seating area. There will not be a student processional.Greeting: We appreciate your assistance in maintaining a continuous flow of traffic as you greet yourstudents when they exit the platform upon receipt of their diplomas. Please return to your seats at theconclusion of the greetings. It is disruptive when faculty exit the arena at the conclusion of the greetings.Thank you.Recessional: The order for the recessional will be as follows: grand marshal, SGA president, platformparty, doctoral graduates and major professors, faculty, vice provosts and academic affairsadministrators.The Commencement Committee works diligently to create the best ceremony possible.
