DEVELOPMENT GUIDANCE SYSTEM1-10 DESIGNATION OF OFFICIAL MAPSA. The location and boundaries established by Section 1-9 are set forthand indicated on maps titled "Future Land Use Map”, “Planning AreaMap” and “Official Zoning Map", these maps shall be a part of thisordinance to the same extent as if set out in this ordinance.B. No changes of any nature shall be made on the Official Zoning Map ormatter shown thereon, except in conformity with the procedures setforth in this ordinance. Any unauthorized change by any person orpersons shall be considered a violation of this ordinance.C. Regardless of the existence of purported copies of the Official ZoningMap, which may from time to time be made or published, the OfficialZoning Map is located in the planning office and shall be the finalauthority as to the current status of land in the county.D. The Commission reserves the right to use any map which displaysinformation regarding the physical, geologic, topographical, orenvironmental condition of any portion or portions of the county. Saidmaps of particular interest are those provided by the Flood InsuranceRate Map, <strong>Hardin</strong> <strong>County</strong> Property Valuation Administrator, UnitedStates Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service SoilSurvey or any map provided by the Natural Resources ConservationService and the United States Geological Survey.1-11 INTERPRETATIONIn their interpretation and application, the provisions of this ordinance shallbe held to be the minimum requirements. More stringent provisions maybe required if it is demonstrated that different standards are necessary topromote the public health, safety and welfare.1-12 CONFLICT OF ORDINANCEWhere the conditions imposed by any provisions of this ordinance, orsubdivision plats or development plans approved in conformance withthese regulations, are either more restrictive or less restrictive thancomparable conditions imposed by any other applicable Kentucky RevisedStatutes, local ordinances, resolution, rule or regulation of any kind, theregulations which are more restrictive and impose higher standards orrequirements shall govern and shall be enforced by the appropriateagency. Private deed restrictions or private covenants for a subdivision donot fall within the jurisdiction of enforcement by any local agency andcannot be enforced by the Commission. When subdivision anddevelopment plans that have been approved by the Commission containsetbacks or other features in excess of the minimum requirementsINTRODUCTION AND GENERAL PROVISIONS 10
