The device tape must be aligned before running ajob. Refer to “Aligning the Device Tape” on page 3-17.XLF ModelsTo load device tape into the <strong>RoadRunner</strong> XLF:NOTE: Make sure the Tape-In Module is adjusted for your desiredtape width.See the spindle and brassbutton in Figure 3-14 onpage 3-141. Ensure that the brass button on the spindle is rotated to the center toallow a reel to slide over it. Install a reel of device tape. Rotate the brassbutton to lock the reel in place.Peel BarFigure 3-17—XLF Models ONLY: Loading device tape. Note that the reelwinds up Cover Tape in the opposite direction than standard models.2. Switch the power switch on and allow the system to start up.3. Remove the Robotics Cover.4. Insert the tape into the Tape-In Module to engage with the sprocket.5.
