The Review offersa forum for discussion about contemporary humanitarianaction as well as analysis of the causes and characteristicsof conflicts so as to give a clearer insight into the humanitarianproblems they generate. Finally, the Review informs itsreadership on questions pertaining to the International RedCross and Red Crescent Movement and in particular on theactivities and policies of the ICRC.International Committee of the Red CrossThe International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)is an impartial, neutral and independent organizationwhose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect thelives and dignity of victims of war and internal violenceand to provide them with assistance.
