EU nanotechnologycode ofconduct to berevisedThe EuropeanCommission is invitinganyone interested innanosciences andnanotechnologiesresearch to registertheir views as part ofthe revision of theRecommendation on aCode of Conduct forResponsibleNanosciences andNanotechnologiesResearch and CouncilConclusions onResponsibleNanosciences andNanotechnologiesadopted in 2008.Upcoming EventsInitial planning has begun on a Nanomedicine Symposium and Graduate Student SummerSchool to be held in October 2010 at the new Suzhou Research Institute of Southeast University.The Program will be intended to provide opportunities for graduate students as well as researchersfrom across the ATN and ISTA universities to engage in facilitated workshop typegatherings. In these workshops students and researchers will be encouraged to learn andunderstand more of the many challenges and opportunities presented via research innanoscience.The Commission isparticularly interestedin input fromresearchers, policymakers, industry,media and civil societyorganisations.Submissions may bemade at http://europa.eu.
