It is located in the southern China, just 20 miles away fromHong Kong. Over the last 35 years, Shenzhen has grown to become the third largest fi nancial, trade & manufacturing cityin China, with a population of over 10 million. You are not able to fi nd any sign of the fi shing village of the past! But there is one village located at a corner of Shenzhen. Quanlan Mountain Village Resort is the last village preservedin Shenzhen City. A clever developer turned trhe village into a village resort. The resort rooms are built with woodand bamboo in traditional southern chinese styles. Natural spring water is available in each room. You can go to the spaarea where there are over a hundred different herbal massage treatments for you to choose. For the fi sherman, you can rent a fi shing hut right on the river. Open your door and fi sh! There is also a farmingarea and fruit garden. For those people growing up in the city, this is a good way to experience the couhtry lifestyle. Myfavorite thing to do is to sit along the water and enjoy some sweet potato, boiled peanuts, fresh vegetables and fi sh. Thisis a great place to take a break and refresh yourself. Bob
