Welcome to Tyrexpo India’15, the third in the series of Tyrexpo India

events and the only international tyre trade show of its kind within India.

As India emerges as the world’s major automobile

and tyre manufacturing hub with multinationals

setting up production facilities in the country,

Tyrexpo India 2013 showcased to the world India’s

immense potential in the global tyre industry.

Exhibitor and visitor numbers showed a healthy

increase of 11% against the 2013 show and were

consistent with expectations. A major advantage

of the show is its international pulling power,

which brings important export markets within

reach of Indian producers. As proof of this,

Tyrexpo India 2013 drew visitors from 67

countries to Chennai, representing the majority of

global tyre-buying economies.

The 2013 show highlighted a number of market

trends, including a focus on new products from

tyre manufacturers targeting the OHT, OTR and

TBR sectors in particular; an active retreading

market, which is set to grow substantially as India

moves towards greater radialisation in truck


The 2015 show will build on the previous show’s

success and is India’s only international one stop

show for tyres, garage and workshop equipment,

consumables and accessories covering all market

sectors of the tyre industry from automobile,

commercial, industrial, agricultural, construction

and mining. The Chennai region is set to become

one of the world’s largest automobile

manufacturing centres over the next decade with

a total capacity of 2.2 million vehicles per annum.

This makes the Chennai Trade Centre the perfect

location to run a dedicated tyre trade exhibition

and we look forward to welcoming both

exhibitors and visitors to Tyrexpo India 2015.

Marketing Support

A comprehensive marketing program is

implemented to bring a target audience to

Tyrexpo India 2015.

Regular monthly media releases issued to national and international

press, local radio advertising and local transport advertising and entire

visitor email database.

Trade journal advertising – advertising and editorial coverage in all tyre

and garage equipment related publications.

Tyrexpo India 2015 newsletters – 8-10 issues published in the run up to

the show. These are mailed and emailed to all prospective contacts on

international database of some 19,000 companies.

Visitor tickets – 90,000 tickets printed for direct and electronic mailing

purposes, inserts in international trade press, each exhibitor also receives

250 tickets to invite their own visitors.

Local radio advertising.

Internet - show listed on various tyre industry and associated websites in

addition to ECI site.

Press Office on site at all ECI events showcasing exhibitors literature /

press packs.

Show directory published for visitor use both during and after the event.

Chennai Trade Centre

Chennai, formerly Madras, is Tamil Nadu’s capital

city and ‘gateway to the south’. True to its historical

tradition, Chennai is a cosmopolitan city with no

language or cultural barriers.

Politically stable, and economically well off, the state

of Tamil Nadu is the ideal destination for business or

pleasure seeking travellers. The Chennai Trade Centre

is well located within the city and a short distance

from the main international airport and railway

station and is the ideal location to host Tyrexpo
