Confidence riding high as TyrexpoAsia reports buoyant
exhibitor bookings for 2011 exhibition – 60% floor space sold!
With nine months to go before the doors open for the next staging of TyrexpoAsia in
Singapore, the exhibition is already 60 per cent full with exhibitors from around the globe
and across the full spectrum of the tyre and workshop industries confirming their
presence.
Companies already committed to the exhibition next March include tyre manufacturers
and distributors BKT, Belshina, Mindtrac, Omni United, Stamford Tyres, Techking and
YHI, workshop equipment suppliers Newera Equipment, tyre repair equipment specialist
Monarch Vulcanising Systems and Elgitread, the Indian supplier of tread rubber.
The buoyant demand and interest in securing prime locations at the eighth staging of the
popular bi-annual event is being seen as an indication of the recovery in confidence of
the tyre and equipment industry in the region.
Singapore-based Stamford Tyres recognises the importance of the exhibition as a prime
opportunity to network with dealers and customers while promoting its newest passenger
car product range. Marketing executive Suzsu Yeung Mei Mei, says: “As a Singaporean
company it is particularly important that we take advantage of the international tyre
industry focus that TyrexpoAsia brings with it. It will be a great opportunity to introduce
dealers and distributors to our latest car tyre, the ultra high performance Sumo Firenza
ST05A. We will also be inviting customers to visit our offices and meet local retailers
while they are in Singapore.”
Toni Elderfield, President of Monarch Vulcanising Systems, says: “TyrexpoAsia has
always consistently been a commercial success for us resulting in new contacts and new
business. It has allowed us to mix with companies from all aspects of the tyre trade and

we are greatly looking forward to taking part in the highly anticipated 2011 event at the
Singapore Expo Centre.'
