2015 QUICK FACTS
• The Jaguars have faced a defending Super Bowl champion nine
times, with the last two times coming in 2007 against Indianapolis.
• The first seven weeks include five games against teams with .500
records or better last season, and three games against teams that
won their divisions: Carolina, Indianapolis and New England.
• It will mark the fifth time that the Jaguars have opened the season
with back-to-back home games. They also opened the season with
consecutive games at home in 1996, 2001, 2006 and 2007.
• It’s the 12th time in 21 seasons that the Jaguars will have opened
the season at home.
PRESEASON SCHEDULE
The Jaguars defeated Pittsburgh, 23-21, in Week 1, marking the first
time the two teams faced each other in preseason action.
In Week 2, the Jaguars fell to the New York Giants in a 22-12 road
defeat. It was the eighth contest between the two clubs in preseason
competition, which is third-most for a Jacksonville opponent.
In Week 3 of the preseason, the Jaguars lost to Detroit, 22-17, in
a nationally-televised contest (CBS). The Lions have won all three
match-ups between the two teams in preseason history.
The Jaguars travel to the nation’s capital to face the Redskins in the
team’s preseason finale on Sept. 3. Jacksonville has won all four preseason
meetings between the two teams, including a 24-17 victory at
home the last time the two teams met in 2009.

JAGUARS IN LONDON
On Aug. 21, 2012, the Jaguars made history by becoming the first
team to commit to playing four home games at London’s historic
Wembley Stadium.
With a goal of raising the profile of the franchise and the community,
Jaguars Owner Shad Khan along with NFL Commissioner Roger
Goodell declared that the Jaguars would play one game in the United
Kingdom for the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 season. “The Jacksonville
Jaguars will be a bold and ambitious NFL franchise,” said Khan.
During the 2014 season, the Jaguars hosted the Dallas Cowboys in
front of 83,603 fans. The team ventured out into the community and
partnered with the NFL’s Play 60 program to promote healthy living
with local London schools.
In 2015, the Jaguars will face the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 25. The NFL
announced June 3 that it selected Yahoo! Inc. as its exlusive partner
to deliver the first-ever live stream of an NFL game to a global audience
across mobile devices and for free. CBS will broadcast the game
in the Jacksonville and Buffalo markets.
