The 2010 edition of the Member/Member was

played this past Friday and Saturday. The order of

finish featured some exemplary play. The team of

Jim Hearn and Tom Paskins finished first in the

gross division with Tom contributing a nice eagle

three on the seventh hole. The pair of Dr. John Galsterer

and Bill Jurgens took net honors with Doc

firing a very economical 71. Finishing second in the

gross scoring was the duo of reigning Net Club

Champion Jim Shumate and his partner David

Whiteford. The net game saw George Vidu and Jeff

Place in the runners-up spot.

Special thanks to Jamie LaForest and her entire

staff for providing some of the finest food and beverage

the Club has ever enjoyed.

New Club Website!

Newly minted Head Golf Professional Justin Mack has been working closely

with Chairman Edward C. Walker on the updated and streamlined Kingsley

Club website. The finishing touches are in the works and when completed our

site will provide all the information a Member can use at the click of a mouse.

High praise goes out to Justin for his tireless efforts in this complex endeavor.

Spring Time Golf

The 2010 Annual Spring Outing featured the largest field ever,

and was rewarded with fine weather. Winning the gross division

was the team comprised of the Witkowski family and

Jake Hamilton, while net accolades went to Brad Jurik, Jim

Shearer, Jeff Fable and Steve Przeracki. Everyone won at the

after-event pig roast with satisfied appetites and slaked

thirst, proving once again that the Spring Outing is a great

venue for introducing new faces to The Kingsley Club.

Kingsley Club River Camp

The Kingsley Club River Camp continues to evolve as the place to stay for

family and friends. Basketball has been added along with horseshoes to

compliment the rafting and kayaking. If you haven’t visited the Camp yet,

your missing a great Club amenity, as new member James Turner can attest.

He pulled a nice little Rainbow Trout out of the Boardman in front of

the Camp on his way to the course.

The Kingsley Club Cottages and River Camp are starting to book up for the

2010 Season! The Kingsley Club staff recommends all members reserve desirable

dates as soon as possible to ensure availability for that

Summer Getaway!

Playing for a Cause

The N.M.C. Commitment Program Annual Fundraiser

was held June 9th and on the behalf of Chairman

Edward C. Walker and the many deserving

scholarship recipients, The Kingsley Club thanks all

who participated. Special kudos to Members Dudley

Smith IV, Jim Wilhelm, and Craig Nicholson for their

exemplary support of this truly worthy cause.
