Early Childhood Development Program
PJ LIBRARY
The JCC has partnered with the PJ Library
(PJ for pajamas). The program offers free,
high-quality Jewish books and music each
month to children ages six months to eight
years all across North America to parents
raising Jewish children. The PJ Library
visits our program monthly. The PJ Library
coordinator reads stories, sings songs and
plans activities with the children. Children
are encouraged to wear their pajamas to
school on PJ Library days!
FUNDRAISERS
Bottle & Can Drive
Make sure to bring in your bottles and
cans to ECDP! We raised over $500 last
year with the help of our families. You
can drop off your bottles and cans in the
designated containers, located in the ECDP
foyer.
Delta Sonic
Keep your vehicle kissing clean throughout
the year with help of Delta Sonic! Car
wash tickets can be purchased at the ECDP
office or the JCC main office. Contact

Square One Art
In November the Early Childhood
Department will be raising money using
your child’s artwork! Parents can purchase
coffee mugs, key chains, T-shirts and
magnets that express their little one’s
creativity. Order forms will be in your
child’s mailbox.

Classes require pre-registration and are
subject to minimum enrollment.
Kidz Yoga Session 1
Age: 3–5 year olds
Day: Mondays
Dates: Oct. 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2
Time: 1:15 - 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $32 members, $40 non-members
Class: Limit 8 (minimum of 5)
Taught by: Ms. Oppedisano
This child friendly yoga class is designed to
develop better balance, muscle tone and
flexibility. Your child will also learn breathing
techniques to promote calmness. The class is
for the introspective child.
Smarty Cat Kids
Junior Scientist Workshop
Age: 3- and 4-year olds
Day: Thursdays
Dates: Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29
Time: 1:15 - 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $32 members, $40 non-members
Class: Limit 8 (minimum of 5)
Taught by: Ms. Daisy from Classroom 8
Hands-on science workshops include fun
experiments, projects and inquiry-based
activities.

Pre-K Book Club

Day: Fridays

Taught by: Ms. Diane
Your child will be immersed in literacy,
reading a chapter book and discussing the
characters, setting, conflict resolution and
foreshadowing. Your child will know the
different attributes of a book and enjoy
writing their own book... all in just 4 weeks!
Cooks & Books
Age: 3–5 year olds
Day: Wednesdays
Dates: Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23
Time: 1:15 - 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $32 members, $40 non-members
Class: Limit 8 (minimum of 5)
Taught by: Ms. Becca
We will read and cook our way through
great stories like Alphabet Soup and
Everybody Bakes Bread. Children will create,
learn and have culinary fun!
Throw the best
birthday party for
your little one. Ever.
We offer age appropriate games and
activities tailored to your preschooler’s
likes and interests. Parties at the JCC are
two hours long, and include all necessary
materials, invitations,
birthday cake
and party supplies.
Our staff will set up
and clean up, and
provide one hour
of structured fun.
$50 non-refundable
