You can only bid for properties that you are eligible for. • You can make up to 3 bids each bidding ‘cycle’. • Remember to keep a note of the advert number of the properties you are bidding for. • Please tell us of any changes in your circumstances so that we can make sure you are eligible for the property. You can make your bids using: • Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) telephone service on 0845 330 3183. You will need your user ID, PIN and the property advert reference number. • SMS text messaging. You can send text bids on 07800 002 429. You will need to text the word ‘bid’ then # then your User ID number followed by # then your PIN number followed by # then the property reference number. You can log in using your User ID and PIN and then click on the properties you wish to bid for. What happens next? At the end of the bidding cycle we will shortlist up to six people for each property. If you are short listed we will invite you by telephone to view the property. Please make sure your contact details are kept up to date at all times. Your position on the shortlist depends on the number of points that you have. The property will be offered to the applicant with highest points. If you have the same number of points as someone else viewing the property, we will put the person who has been waiting the longest above the other applicant. Your application will be put on hold while your bids are being considered. You should only place bids for properties you are really interested in.
