3 measurements were made:<br />
(1) time spent in a circular area 40 cm in<br />
diameter centered on the platform's location<br />

(2) the mean distance of the swim path from<br />
the platform's location (corrected for start<br />

(3) the number of times that the rat swam<br />
across the exact place where the platform had<br />
been located<br />
