In the Harz Mountains practically everyone gets an appetite for hiking.
Passing through absolutely wonderful landscape and natural
surroundings, there are wide-ranging networks of trails with good
signposting to interesting lookout points, cosy restaurants for daytrippers
as well as the "Bauden" (Harz Mountain lodges). In addition,
beautiful circular hiking trails also start from practically every
town and village. Included among the hiking trails known Germany-wide
are the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg, which passes by Altenau,
Buntenbock, Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Sankt Andreasberg in the
Upper Harz Mountains, offering attractive opportunities to enter it.
Guided hikes are offered in all towns of the Upper Harz Mountains
under expert supervision and on a wide variety of themes all
year round, providing an informative introduction to one of Germany's
most extensive hiking areas.
Especially healthy and rich in wonderful views are hikes on the
healthy-climate trails in Sankt Andreasberg. Ask about the
