MATTERS IN GRAY

TRAINING ORGANISATION

WELCOME

Matters in Gray is one of Queensland’s longest running private Registered Training Organisations.

The college was established by industry and education specialists. It began with two students and

now is training in excess of 250 apprentices and full time students.

The school’s philosophy is to focus on the practical, “hands on skills” required to create great

hairdressers in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Matters in Gray is located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. The college is 15 minutes from the

City and 40 minutes from the Gold Coast.

Our major point of difference is the state of the art salon where paying clients provide the students

with a commercial environment in which to learn their trade. This allows them to emerge from the

course with the confidence to tackle all that the real world has to offer.

The Matters in Gray hands on approach extends to the structure of the training environment.

The highly qualified training staff are made up of industry professionals, salon owners and

experienced educators. The class numbers are small and therefore our trainers are able to

ensure that each student receives the detailed attention required to develop great hairdressers.

The courses are designed to be totally flexible, allowing them to be tailored to suit each student.

The most important part of the whole process is the warm, friendly and family orientated

environment in which to learn.
