Four independent control loops
The compact multichannel measuring
device can be equipped with up to ten
switching outputs (basic and dual-relay
cards as well as wear-free semiconductor
switches / PhotoMOS relays). In addition,
it is possible to define up to four
completely independent control loops.
The proven JUMO algorithms for P, PI,
PD, and PID control are available here as
standard.
Events can be triggered in a time-controlled
manner via two integrated timers
(weekly timers), enabling night-time reductions
to be made to the control operation,
for example.
Simple operation
An intuitive 3.5 inch color screen with a
touchscreen not only makes it easy to
configure and operate the JUMO AQUIS
touch P, it also ensures that all parameters
are displayed with particular clarity.
With over 15 operating languages to
choose from, including Russian and
Chinese, the device is predestined for
worldwide use. cUL approval has been
granted for use in Canada and the USA.
Integrated paperless recorder
A particular highlight of the JUMO AQUIS
touch P is the integrated paperless
recorder. This enables a maximum of
eight analog and six binary signals divided
into two groups to be simultaneously
recorded and have their progress displayed
on the screen. The data is saved
internally, free from any kind of data
manipulation. It goes without saying that
this meets statutory requirements for
record keeping.
The JUMO AQUIS touch P can be easily
integrated into a network via an Ethernet
interface. It is also possible to extract
and process data as well as to perform
setups.
Worldwide remote diagnosis
The new multichannel measuring device
also has a Web server function for measured
value monitoring and remote
diagnosis from any Internet connection
in the world. Alarms and other messages
can also be sent via SMS text message
or e-mail.
A PROFIBUS-DP interface and two RS 485
interfaces with Modbus protocol ensure
that the device can be integrated into more
complex process plants and controls.
The bigger brother: JUMO AQUIS touch S
The JUMO AQUIS touch P is the little brother
of the JUMO AQUIS touch S. The two
devices complement each other perfectly
as they have the same operating interface
and largely identical functionality. The
larger "S" version is available in a wallmounted
case with protection rating IP67.
