ANN’S ANNUAL NOVENA The Annual Novena to St. Ann will take place at St. Ann’s Church, 120 Sherman Ave. North in Hamilton beginning Thursday, July 18 th and concludes Friday, July 26 th , the Feast of St. Ann. Each day (including Saturday & Sunday) at 7pm there will be Mass, novena prayers, homily and blessing with the relic of St. Ann as well as confessions following the Mass with the exception of the concluding Mass. Preaching the Novena this year will be Father Joseph Durkacz, Pastor of St. Ann’s in Hamilton. The Most Reverend Anthony Tonnos, DD, Bishop Emeritus of Hamilton will celebrate the concluding Mass on Friday, July 26 th at 7pm. FOUNDATIONS FOR MINISTRY PROGRAM The Foundations for Ministry Program is a course designed to offer lay Catholics the opportunity to learn more about the foundations of our Catholic faith: Church history, scripture, morality, sacraments and prayer. This foundation is useful to parishioners who serve in a variety of ministries. The course will be offered in Hamilton and Waterloo starting in September 2013. MATTHEW PARISH UGANDA VOLUNTEER TRIP Parishioners are invited to participate in a 14 day volunteer trip to Uganda in February, 2014. This experience is coordinated by Debbie & Paul Dinner.
