SPORTS DAY
2015
Sports Day took place at Battersea Park
Millennium Arena on Monday 13 July. Pupils
competed in track and field events in what
proved to be a very competitive day.
Every pupil showed attributes of perseverance and determination that
will serve them well in other areas of school life. All the boys must be
congratulated on their level of effort and enthusiasm. The wet and rainy day
made performances particularly challenging. Despite the conditions three
new school records were set: Leslie Menka of 8K for 200m, Ovie Ukpedor
7D for 1500m and Edidden Ben 7W for shot putt.
The inter-house competition winners for each year group were as follows:
Year 7 - Kings; Year 8 - Hills; Year 9 - Kings; Year 10 - Waterlow
And finally, many congratulations to Kings pupils for winning the overall interhouse
competition. Hamish Hardiman collected the shield on behalf of Kings.
