SUMMIT

Today the AIBD is addressing efficiently some of the more complex challenges that broadcasters
are facing worldwide, a role of being more than just an ordinary research and
training instute. In addion to training, the Instute is taking iniaves to promote
pluralism and cultural diversity in the electronic media at a me when globalisaon is
endangering tradional values and engendering mistrust and fear. Media dialogue is a
correcve iniave to search for beer mutual understanding and this is what AIBD aims
to achieve in gatherings such as the Asia Media Summit.
