The 2013 schedule of Sunday paddles will now be listed on a
calendar of events so the members can plan in advance which
paddles they would like to do. The calendar will be e-mailed to all
club members in spring. We will be paddling sections of the lower
Wisconsin River, Mississippi River backwaters locally in Wisconsin
and Iowa, as well as some smaller inland rivers in our area, such
as the Yellow and Kickapoo. Sunday paddles begin 10am. at a
designated boat landing and are usually 3 hours long. In addition
to Sunday, we will again have the Thursday evening paddle which
begins at 6pm at Washington St. Park. This is our “paddle ‘n
music” event to include St. Feriole Island South Shelter live music
concerts on Thursday evenings in summer. So, let’s get out on
the water and enjoy a summer filled with paddling adventures in
this beautiful area. For further information, contact Sally Marshall
