With all the excitement, emotion, tears

and joy that you’ll experience on your

wedding day, more than likely, the

many details will be a blur once all is

said and done. Therefore, hiring a top

notch, professional photographer is

crucial so you’re left with the perfect

storybook that truly captures the

special moments of the day. Here are

some points to consider when interviewing

photographer prospects.

Has this person photographed other

weddings? How long have they been

in the photography business? Is this

their hobby or profession? Have they

photographed a wedding at your venue

before?

Ask to see samples of their work. Do

you like what you see? What is their

style: photojournalism, formal, classic?

Do you feel a chemistry with this photographer?

Is it someone you can get

along with and feel completely comfortable

with? Remember, they will be

with you every step of the way on your

big day!

Is the photographer you are meeting the

one that will be photographing your

wedding or will they send whoever is

available? Be certain that you know

which photographer is going to be there

and that you see samples of their work...

not the work of someone else.
