Fig 4, Fig 5, Fig 6 + Fig 7 Interior Images of

the Existing Station.

Fig 4 and Fig 7 show the main foyer space

of the train station. The escalators lead you

onto the new extension of the station.

French railway service that is separted for

customs.

Fig 6 displays the lobby area for the French

Bâle SNCF.

Fig 8 Displays the Southern faced of the train station. It consists

of the famous ‘swiss clock’ and also the train networks

that interchange at the train station (SBB CFF FFS)

Fig 10 is the Eastern Elevation of the Passrelle. The form itself

to be said to reflect the economic statistic graph is the idea of

the design, that allows the commuters to have the variation of

height which can be reflects to their travel experience.

In Fig 13 it portrays the ideas of air circulation within the space, a step

towards sustainability.

Fig 14 is the concept sketch of the roof form and how this is broken up.

are the internal images of the

passrelle of the Basel station. it

shows the passage ways with

extensive views out to the train

tracks (Fig 16). There are appropriate

seating available (Fig 15).

Areas for advertising, retail and

signage (Fig 17 + Fig 18) that is

designed it well orientated manner

to allow the commuter to travel

through this space.
