NEVER OUT
The Indianapolis Colts overcame an 18-point second-half deficit to
defeat the Houston Texans 27-24 on Sunday Night Football at Reliant
Stadium. Andrew Luck connected with T.Y. Hilton for three
touchdowns on three consecutive drives in the second half to give
WELCOME TO THE TEAM
The Colts acquired running back Trent Richardson in a trade with the
Cleveland Browns on Thursday, Sept. 19. In Richardson’s first rushing
attempt as a member of the Colts, he ran for a touchdown on a
one-yard run at San Francisco (9/22). With the touchdown,
Richardson became the first player to score on his first rushing
attempt in his Colts debut since Gordon Brown did so on October
4, 1987. He also scored in his second game with the Colts on a
one-yard run in the second quarter at Jacksonville (9/29).
sixth among Colts undrafted players. Freeman has also recorded
PROTECTING THE FOOTBALL
In Week 1 vs. Oakland, the Colts did not commit any turnovers for
the third consecutive game dating back to last season. The game
marked the first time since 2008 that the Colts have gone as many
games without turning the ball over (Nov. 2-16, 2008).
The Colts have already seen success when they protect the football,
as they have posted a 8-0 record under Head Coach Chuck
Pagano when they commit zero turnovers in a game.
Since 2000, the Colts have posted a 43-2 record in the regular season
when they do not post any turnovers, which ranks first in the
NFL during that time span.
Below is a list of the top five teams with the best winning percentage
