Dr Dub was officially a “dead” vehicle, so certification was tough. I got
knocked back for everything you can think of, and will never forget the
moment when one of the cert guys took me to one side and said; “Maybe
you’ll just have to let it go!?” What a dick! After much undoing, re-doing and
head-doing, I got certified, two days before the wedding! No worries mate :-)
There’s been ongoing mods and I don’t think I’ll ever be “finished”. I was
going to do up the interior, but my young son quickly showed that would be
a silly idea, as he started drawing all over the head lining!
Dr Dub is a choice bus! We cruise, we host parties, we go to work, we get
building supplies, we do drive-in movies, we get random waves and smiles,
we’ve got a lifestyle, and it’s all good!
A massive thank you goes out to my good mates that made it happen!
