Qualification Aim<br />
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in<br />
Health and Fitness is the vocational<br />
equivalent <strong>of</strong> a GCSE qualification. It<br />
is aimed at 14-16 year olds studying<br />
their Key Stage 4 curriculum and<br />
interested in any <strong>of</strong> the health and<br />
fitness contexts such as exercise,<br />
lifestyles and diet.<br />
This qualification is designed<br />
for learners with an interest in<br />
health and fitness. It will provide<br />
learners with experience <strong>of</strong> using<br />
different training techniques and<br />
methods to enable them to use<br />
these within further education or<br />
apprenticeships. It will also provide<br />
them with the opportunity to<br />
develop and experience their own<br />
fitness programme.<br />
