BeoSound Essence is a simple, elegant one-touch music
system and an integrated component in the wireless Bang
& Olufsen BeoLink Multiroom experience. It gives direct
access to some of the world’s most popular music services
and thousands of global internet radio stations. With just
four buttons, it frees you from the complexity of modern
life and lets you just enjoy music. Use it as a remote or
place it on the wall and it will work like a light switch for
music. Simple, intuitive and unique.
Complete the experience
While the design is created with simplicity in mind, the
accompanying complimentary BeoMusic App for iPhone,
iPad or Android smartphones brings an entirely new
dimension to the experience.
BeoMusic App lets you pick and choose between your
favourite tracks from your own digital music collection,
while a wealth of internet radio stations are yours to enjoy
too, provided by TuneIn, integrated in BeoSound Essence.
You can also access millions of tracks through built-in
Deezer, Spotify Connect and QPlay*.
When you find what you are looking for, simply switch
the music with a single touch, regardless of its source.
BeoSound Essence streams wirelessly via AirPlay, DLNA
and Bluetooth.
Ready for wireless BeoLink Multiroom sound
If you are looking to design a wireless setup around
BeoSound Essence, you have the opportunity to combine
it with a range of our most popular products to enjoy the
convenience, freedom and flexibility of wireless sound,
throughout your home. Add a BeoPlay A9 sound system
to take sound with you from room to room, or a BeoVision
Avant to integrate a TV in the experience. BeoLink Multiroom
technology is integrated and ready.

BeoSound Essence setup:
A BeoSound Essence setup consists of a hideaway box
and an optional wall or table stand remote. Add any Bang
& Olufsen active speakers, wired or wireless*, to start
listening.
*Connection from BeoSound Essence hideaway box to wireless
active Bang & Olufsen speakers with WiSA requires a BeoLab 1
Transmitter.
The BeoSound Essence Remote
mounted on the wall.
The table stand variant of the Beo-
Sound Essence Remote.
You can easily place the hideaway box
anywhere near the speakers.
