Interfor MSR LUMBER
Best Choice for Performance and Quality
Interfor MSR (machine-stress rated) lumber starts
with the finest fiber, guaranteeing strength and
stiffness, with consistent dimensional stability. It is
manufactured with #1 Wane, providing a product
that looks as good as it performs.
Our British Columbia mills at Adams Lake, Grand
Forks and Castlegar manufacture MSR lumber
from Spruce/Pine/Fir (SPF), Douglas-Fir/Larch
and Inland Hem-Fir(N). Our Meldrim, Perry, Preston
and Swainsboro, Georgia mills manufacturers MSR
lumber from Southern Yellow Pine.
Best Choice for the Environment
Wood from responsible sources is by far the best
building choice. Interfor uses fiber from forest
operations in British Columbia’s Southern Interior
and Eastern Georgia that meet our high environmental
standards. Precision manufacturing and machine
grading allow us to maximize MSR lumber from our
valuable forest resource.
