Arrival and check-in at the Hotel Darsena 3* in
Moncalieri, situated quite close to Turin. Enjoy the
welcome dinner at the restaurant-pizzeria Lo Spago
with a view on the Po River
31/12: The lights and colours of Turin
Spend the last day of the year by visiting one of the
most beautiful cities in Italy – Turin. The local guide
will illustrate its highlights not to be missed – the
elegant city centre, the baroque Piazza Castello
square, the glorious Mole Antonelliana Tower, and
the Artist’s Lights - the amazing light installations of
Italian and international artists that adorn city centre.
Lunch free, to choose among the many restaurants
– the whole region of Piedmont is known for its
culinary tradition – and the wines!
In the afternoon, time to get ready for the New
Year’s Eve celebration at a restaurant in Turin!
01/01: Happy New Year!
The first day of 2016 will start with a brunch at your
hotel – focaccias, local cold cuts, savoury pies, and
panettone and pandoro, the traditional winter
cakes. Before the departure, we suggest a quick visit
of the Christmas Markets of the Borgo Dora quarter,
where the local stallholders offer traditional sweets,
gift items, and various handicrafts.
