In just two years, Lancaster Roots & Blues has earned a

reputation as one of the hottest music festivals in the

Mid-Atlantic region. With more than 50 bands performing

in ten venues the festival draws music fans from across

The festival is held each year in beautiful downtown

Lancaster, PA. Lancaster is a walkable and vibrant city

with a thriving arts community and is a leading cultural

hub in the Eastern U.S. With its unique shops and more

than 100 great restaurants and nightspots, Lancaster has

been acknowledged as #4 in a list of the most exciting

small cities in the country*.

This year marks the third annual event and the festival

has experienced growth in every aspect of its operations

to be more than 10,000 and this year the festival is

expanding to three days to accommodate more music,

FESTIVAL WEEKEND EXPOSURES

Festival sponsorships offers multiple opportunities to

promote to the estimated 10,000 attendees including

advertising in the festival guide, signage and banners

THE FESTIVAL GUIDE

15,000 copies of the full-color, 64-page program guide will

be distributed throughout Lancaster County in hotels,

shops and restaurants in the weeks leading up to the

event. The guide will also be presented to all attendees and

be available at all venue and partner locations during the

festival weekend.

EMAIL MARKETING

Lancaster Roots & Blues maintains a database of over

3,500 subscribers to our email news and info releases. The

2016 marketing plan includes multiple email blasts to this

growing subscriber list.

HOST CITY EXPOSURE

Lancaster Roots & Blues aggressive advertising and

marketing campaign will blanket the desirable Lancaster

and Central PA markets with promotional messages and

impressions providing included brands exposure to 500,000

residents in Lancaster and central PA. Additionally, dozens

of host venues and local businesses will be promoting the

event and attached sponsors during the festival weekend.

PR AND NEWS COVERAGE

New this year, Blue Ridge Cable will broadcast

performances from several venues to their 40,000+ cable

to broadcast festival concerts and programming with

glossy, full-color program that will include a comprehensive

performance schedule, detailed maps of the festival

15,000 copies of the program will be printed and distributed

for free to dozens of area businesses before the festival

and to the 10,000 expected attendees during the festival

As fans of Blues and American Roots music, festival
